Robin Teigland

Start-up professor and expert in technology, circular economy and global economy

She has repeatedly been listed by Veckans Affärer as one of Sweden’s most influential women in technology. In 2019, she was also ranked as one of Sweden’s top 100 speakers.

Robin is head of Ocean Data Factory Sweden, Sweden’s first national ocean data lab with a mission to give Sweden a leading role in the development of the global blue economy. Robin also sits on the board of the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration and Akademiska Hus.

As an impact entrepreneur and through the Peniche Ocean Watch Initiative (POW), which Robin co-founded, she works to develop and create the best possible conditions for a blue circular economy in Peniche, Portugal.

Before Chalmers, she was Professor of Business Administration with a focus on strategy and digitalization at the Stockholm School of Economics. Robin is the Business School’s sixth female professor since its foundation in 1909. She is often interviewed about her research in Swedish and international media and is an internationally sought-after speaker. On several occasions she has been listed as one of the Global Top 50 Business Professors on Twitter.
