Mårten Görnerup
CEO, MetsolMårten Görnerup is the CEO of Metsol AB where he currently works as a consultant and advisor to the metallurgical industry and the energy sector with a focus on opportunities related to future transitions. Mårten left his position as CEO of Hybrit Development AB at the end of 2019 after several years of being involved in creating a fossil-free future for the iron and steel industry. He also has a PhD in Process Metallurgy.
Mårten has a strong belief in the opportunities that are now opening up for northern Sweden and Swedish companies as the climate transition takes off. Fossil-free energy, sometimes combined with hydrogen, is perhaps the most important component of these future industrial systems. Not least in the metal producing industry where Mårten has been active for over 25 years.
