Linda Lyckman
SVP Business and Technology Innovation, Swedish Space CorporationLinda Lyckman is a leading force in the space sector, recognised for her visionary leadership and pioneering work in technology and innovation. As Senior Vice President of Business and Technology Innovation at the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC), she and her team have tackled critical challenges such as space debris, exploiting satellite data for global sustainability and developing secure laser communications for satellites. The team’s efforts are improving safety and sustainability in space, accelerating the green transition on Earth and paving the way for new global communication opportunities.
With over 15 years of experience in the space and technology sector, including working at NASA, Linda has studied aerospace engineering and space science at Umeå and Luleå Universities. She previously led Europe’s NewSpace sales at Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) and held several roles within SSC.
During her leadership, the organisation has undergone a phase of expansion, characterised by rapid change and the creation of strong international partnerships. Linda has received several awards, including the Ulla Teige Diploma as Female Role Model of the Year in Space Technology, honouring her work to increase gender equality in the field. Her mentorship and ability to inspire future generations, especially women and young people, to explore careers in science and technology, contributing to a more inclusive technology sector.
