Interview with Peter Gotthardsson from Lilium, principal partners of the Bünsow Business Growth Forum.
Why is Bünsow an important event for you to participate in?
– As one of Sundsvall’s major property companies, it is important to support initiatives and organizations that focus on business conditions and growth issues.
What factors do you think are important to promote and stimulate growth?
– There are many basic measures that need to be taken to create growth. The most important thing is a business community that is as free as possible from greedy politicians and public officials and low taxes on work and business. At the local level, it is extremely important that municipalities are active in their detailed planning work and focus on measures to promote business, such as fast processing times and competent service organizations for the business community.
Given the challenging times we live in, what do you think are the most important factors to focus on to foster future growth?
– The most important thing is low taxes on work and business. This is the only way to create opportunities for people to build a better future for themselves and to create the economic resources necessary for our society to develop in a gender-equal way.
How are you developing Sundsvall to be a better city to live and work in?
– Lilium works hard to attract companies and individuals to live and work in Sundsvall. This is done by adapting and developing our fine properties and by actively sponsoring sports and other non-profit associations operating in Sundsvall. In addition, we maintain an ongoing dialog with leading municipal representatives on important development issues for the city and the municipality.
What is your main advice to your tenants right now?
– Continue to stick with a landlord who has the resources to develop together with your business and your needs, and who also has the resources and willingness to actively participate in the future development of the city and the municipality.
