See you on October 7, 2026

How will Sweden transform itself and build its next success story?

AI, digitalization, new business models, and global competition are rapidly changing the landscape for businesses and society. At the same time, new opportunities are emerging for innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth. How can Sweden capitalize on them—and what will it take to build the next Swedish success story?

Bünsow Talks is a new component of Bünsow Week, where representatives from business, research, investors, and civil society come together each year to discuss a timely issue related to the future. In a smaller forum, specially invited participants gather together with a limited number of participants who have expressed interest.

Unlike a traditional conference, Bünsow Talks is based on active participation and the sharing of experiences. Insightful on-stage conversations are interspersed with roundtable discussions where different experiences and perspectives come together and the discussions are explored in greater depth. The goal is for these conversations to lead to new ideas, connections, and collaborations.

How Bünsow Talks Works

On-stage conversations and roundtable discussions

The day begins with on-stage discussions interspersed with small-group discussions. Among those appearing on stage are Susanne Ackum, former executive secretary of the AI Commission; Henrik Keinonen, a researcher at the Aalto University School of Business; and investor Stefan Frank. The discussions will then continue around the tables, where participants will have the opportunity to explore the topics in greater depth, share their own experiences, and contribute their perspectives.

The discussions will continue over lunch

The networking lunch provides an opportunity to continue discussions in a more informal setting, make new connections, and follow up on ideas and questions raised during the conversations. Here, business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and researchers can meet even outside the organized sessions. Mid Sweden University is participating with researchers in fields such as AI, digitalization, and innovation.

Inspiration Afternoon

The day concludes with an inspirational afternoon session where concrete examples and experiences from international entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems offer new perspectives on innovation, AI, and growth. Speakers include Peter Vesterbacka, entrepreneur and co-founder of Slush, and AI developer and entrepreneur Rrita Canolli.

About the 2026 Theme

Sweden has long been a country known for innovation and entrepreneurship. But as technology, competition, and the rules of the game change, new conditions for growth must also be created.

How will AI affect the future of business? How can we strengthen the synergy between research, capital, and entrepreneurship? How can we create more high-growth companies with international potential? And what is needed for Sweden to remain an attractive destination for investment, talent, and innovation?

These are some of the questions that will be the focus of the premiere of Bünsow Talks.
