Interview with Anders Lindström from Skandia, official partners of the Bünsow Business Growth Forum.

Why is the Bünsow Business Growth Forum an important event for you to participate in?

– Networking, new customers, inspiration and development

What factors do you think are important to promote and stimulate growth?

– A vibrant business community with open networking in various forums, it is important that we continue to be active in various forms even though it is tough. Digital developments have made it possible for us to run activities even if we can’t meet in person. It is important that we learn from each other to develop. It is important to have a strong business company or similar that drives development and creates conditions locally; collaboration is becoming increasingly important. This is to create synergies between different activities which in turn create opportunities and new businesses.

Given the challenging times we live in, what do you think are the most important factors to focus on to foster future growth?

– That we do not cancel but have the ability to change. The meeting we had physically is now digital and I really hope that we can normalize the meeting during the autumn when we can mix both physical and digital meetings.

What changes has the pandemic brought to your industry?

– We have redirected our advice to digital channels. Teams have become our way of meeting both existing and new customers. We have found a sustainable efficiency in digitalization with less travel, increased skills and more efficient ways of working, resulting in reduced costs and a more efficient customer organization. After Corona, the lessons learned will probably be that we work in a combination of physical and digital meetings, which should benefit both the customer and us as an advisory company.

What is your main message to your customers who want to grow?

– Seeing new opportunities and capturing new ways of working, the digital journey has only just begun. I think many companies are waiting for the Covid situation to pass and for everything to go back to normal. My tip, go through existing business models/business plans, review the efficiency, what have we learned, and what should we remove, change/refine and what should we keep. However, it is important that we do not forget about people.
