Fouad Youcefi is a journalist and presenter at SVT. In recent years, he has been SVT’s correspondent in the United States, which has undergone dramatic political, economic and cultural change. He has previously been the presenter of Politikbyrån, SVT’s major party leader debate ahead of the election, and has led several election night broadcasts.
Youcefi was born in Algeria in 1989 but grew up in Sala in Västmanland. He studied journalism at Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall and also worked for a time as a local reporter for what was then SVT Mittnytt.
