David Carlsson took over as CEO of the listed property company Diös at the turn of the year. He brings with him experience and insights from a total of 20 years in senior positions in the property industry, specifically in regional cities. Most recently, he was CEO and Group CEO of the Umeå-based property company Balticgruppen.
David’s leadership is evident in his exceptional ability to identify the current situation, envision a desired outcome, and then guide the company towards it. He considers a genuine understanding of the market, social engagement, and curiosity about all aspects of society to be prerequisites for success. Relationships are important. He describes it as working in the middle of an ecosystem of different social actors, such as municipalities, tenants, property owners, county councils, businesses and banks, where the whole city is affected when you build and develop.
Diös is a listed property company that owns and develops both commercial and residential properties in cities with growth potential, with the vision of creating Sweden’s most inspiring cities. The market stretches from Luleå in the north to Borlänge in the south, with headquarters in Östersund.
