University since 2017, where he actively promotes issues of internationalisation, collaboration and how higher education can contribute to regional development. Under his leadership, the university has strengthened its role as an engine of knowledge and confidence in northern Sweden. In addition to research, Anders has held several leading positions in academia, including as head of department, vice-dean and pro-rector at Umeå University.
