Petter Alexis Askergren

Petter Alexis Askergren is one of Sweden’s most influential hip hop artists. Since his debut in 1998, his personal lyrics and strong stage presence have shaped Swedish hip hop and paved the way for an entire generation of artists. During his career, he has released sixteen albums, won several Grammis awards, been named Artist of the Year and made a name for himself as an entrepreneur, artist and author.

In addition to music, Petter runs creative projects ranging from restaurants and wine production to art and books. His commitment also extends to promoting new talent, including through the current project ‘Petter med Getter’, where he collaborates with some of Sweden’s most interesting young rappers. In 2026, he will also return to Berwaldhallen to perform with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hans Ek, a continuation of the acclaimed concerts from 2013.

As a lecturer, Petter is known for his personal approach and his ability to inspire through both successes and setbacks. At Bünsow, he shares his life journey with a focus on entrepreneurship shaped by the power of language and the courage to go his own way.
