Olof Manner, Senior Advisor at Swedbank, has nearly 40 years of experience in the financial markets, with particular expertise in the fixed-income market. His deep knowledge gives him a unique ability to understand and analyze macroeconomic developments from current and historical perspectives.

After completing his studies at the University of Denver and the University of Gothenburg, Olof started his career at Montagu Fondkommission in Stockholm. He then continued his career at The Royal Bank of Scotland before joining Swedbank in 2014 as Head of Macro Research and later as Head of Research. Since 2019, Olof has been working as a senior advisor, focusing on giving presentations on macroeconomics, business intelligence, geopolitics, and financial markets.

Olof is a well-known voice in the media and has been a member of Dagens Industri’s Shadow Board since 2010 and a regular participant in the Macro Podcast since 2009. He has also been a macro columnist in Affärsvärlden for the past 15 years. In addition, Olof is a highly appreciated lecturer who provides a clear and insightful picture of the international situation with his humor, experience, and deep knowledge of financial markets.
