Helena Carell is CEO of Air Target, the company that has been supplying training equipment to defence forces worldwide since 1958. Their systems create effective training and reduced consumption of ammunition, strengthening expertise and experience in the defence sector where they have customers in over 25 countries. The products are in high demand given the current situation, combined with a stronger focus on quality and sustainability.

Helena has a solid background in the security field, with experience as a professional officer, security manager and security protection manager. She has been a driving force in total defence and security protection issues, especially in the electricity sector. She has also participated in the inquiry on the role of industry in total defence.

She is a graduate of the Karlberg Military Academy and holds an Executive MBA from Stockholm University, where she wrote a research study on the personal qualities of leaders that promote resilient organisations.
