Interview with Roger Vedin, CEO of Ågrenshuset, a partner of Bünsow Business Growth Forum
This year you are joining Bünsow Business Growth Forum as a new partner. What was it that made you take that step?
– Bünsow Business Growth Forum brings together many companies in the region and we also wanted to be one of these and have the opportunity to be part of the community at the various events that are carried out.
Ågrenshuset is a significant company in Örnsköldsvik and has been in the industry for a long time. Can you tell us a little about how it all started and how the business has developed over the years?
– Ågrenshuset was founded as Ågrens Boktryckeri AB in 1906 by Gustav Ågren. In the 1940s, Enar Eklund took over the company and since then it has been run by the Eklund family for three generations. In the late 1980s, a process of change began that led to the company changing its name to Ågrenshuset AB and focusing on collaborations.
In recent years, a number of mergers have created the conditions for survival and given the company its shape with new directions and offerings, today Ågrenshuset is a modern company and can offer everything a company needs for its marketing.
What are you most looking forward to in your first year as a partner to the forum?
– Participating in various events and expanding our network.
