Niklas Säwén – Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board , Sundsvall Municipality
Niklas Säwén has been Chairman of the Sundsvall Municipal Executive Board since May 2023. He has a long political experience and has previously been, among other things, chairman of the social committee, the health and care committee and vice chairman of the municipal board.
In his current role, he works in particular with business and growth issues in a Sundsvall that is growing with existing businesses and new establishments. The focus is on stimulating, among other things, housing construction, skills supply and strengthening the role of both culture and sport in building an attractive Sundsvall. He also leads the work of the strategically important co-operation forum N6, which consists of the largest municipalities in northern Sweden, of which Sundsvall is currently chairman.
