Interview with Maria Nyberg from SCA who is an Official Partner of Unga Bünsow
SCA was a partner at the start of the Forum last year, now you continue as an Official Partner. Why do you want to be part of Unga Bünsow?
– It is important for us to showcase our company and our jobs to the students at MIUN. We found Bünsow last year to be an interesting and professional event.
How can your participation in Unga Bünsow help showcase the career opportunities available to business and engineering students in the Sundsvall region?
– We will be talking to the students about career opportunities at a booth. We will also have a session with one of our staff members, who will speak about his career journey and job.
For example, SCA offers internships, trainee positions, and trainee programs for students. What is the main reason for wanting to work at SCA?
– If you want to work in a company that contributes to a higher value partly climate change. We work in a circular way from the plant to fossil-free products such as packaging paper and wooden building materials. We also have good development opportunities and we value a safe and sustainable working life. We have about 230 different roles within SCA, we have our jobs in Norrland, but most customers are global. We say – ‘we create our future today.’ Does that sound interesting?
