Frida Anundsson is the CEO of Sparbanksstiftelsen Norrrland, an owner foundation of Swedbank. By reinvesting dividends from its ownership, the foundation promotes business, research, education, sports and culture through various projects in Västernorrland and Västerbotten.
We have been involved in Bünsow since the beginning because we believe in creating meeting places where cooperation can grow and important social issues can be addressed. We care about the region’s growth and actively support initiatives that promote it. It is extremely inspiring to see how the arena has developed to become an appreciated and obvious meeting place for business, politics and academia. We are proud and happy to be one of the many actors who make this possible.
This year’s theme “Let’s meet the challenge” is of great importance as it highlights and provides an opportunity for dialog about the conditions needed for the initiatives that are now taking place in northern Sweden. It is important that actors from different sectors and societal functions participate in these dialogues as different perspectives are key to success. In these meetings, we can find innovative and fresh ways to take advantage of the opportunities before us.
