With unique experience from the highest levels of public office, including ten years as Prime Minister of Sweden, and leading positions across both industry and the financial sector, Göran Persson is one of Sweden’s most sought-after speakers. Following his tenure as Prime Minister, he has served as Chairman of the Boards of LKAB, Sveaskog, and Scandinavian Biogas Fuels, among other organizations.
His broad expertise in economics, international politics, and sustainable development makes him one of Sweden’s leading voices on issues related to competitiveness, welfare, and the societal challenges of the future.
Mattias Persson
Mattias Persson is Group Chief Economist and Global Head of Research at Swedbank. He previously served as Chief Economist and Acting Head of Debt Management at the Swedish National Debt Office, and was responsible for Group Funding at Nordea. Prior to that, he was Director and Head of the Financial Stability Department at Sveriges Riksbank.
