Eva Nyh Hederberg, Nordea

Interview with Eva Nyh Hederberg, Head of Business Banking Unit Central Sweden, at Nordea who are Official partners of Bünsow Business Growth Forum

Can you tell us about how your partnership with Bünsow Business Growth Forum started?

– As a newcomer to the job, I find it difficult to answer how the partnership started, but what is clear is that we see Büünsow as a fantastic arena for driving development and growth in the region – something we at Nordea really want to be a part of. Nordea has strong local roots, and through the collaboration we also see the forum as a perfect place to meet and deepen our relationships with customers and partners, something I personally look forward to.

This year’s theme for the Bünsow Business Growth Forum is “Northern Sweden in the World”. What do you think of this year’s theme and how do you think it reflects the current opportunities and challenges for Nordea?

– A timely and relevant theme! With all the exciting industrial investments in the north, we have a unique opportunity to put the region on the global map, especially in areas such as sustainability, green energy and innovation, which is also central to us and fully in line with Nordea’s business strategy. At the same time, we face challenges, not least in an uncertain global economy. Which for Nordea means, as always, being close, responsive, flexible and there for our customers.

How is Nordea adapting its financial services and advice to the current global situation?

– In uncertain times, it feels even more important to be there by being close and accessible to our customers. As the largest bank in the Nordics, we have both the resources and the expertise to be able to support and “hold customers’ hands” through a turbulent time.

What do you appreciate most about your work at Nordea?

– Of course, all the nice and competent colleagues and getting to work closely with customers and the market. Being able to contribute to the development and growth of the region where I live and work is something that is close to my heart.
